The bicycles are leased to the courier in the understanding that the courier is responsible for the bike throughout the duration of the rental period. The bicycle and accessories are fully insured, however an excess of £400.00 applies, if the bicycle is stolen, an accident occurs, or anything gets lost. A crime reference/accident reference number must be provided by the customer in the event of a theft or accident. A Chain lock and or a D-lock will be issued with the bike which must be used to secure the bike to an immovable static object in such a fashion that the lock can only be removed by cutting, damage or manipulation of the lock when it is left unattended. If you are unable to find a suitable object the lock must be used to secure the rear wheel to the frame. No repairs or modifications are to be made without gaining permission. Affixing of stickers or signage is also prohibited. Bikes are kept overnight at our Whitechapel office at 206 Whitechapel Road E1 1AA and can be picked up and returned during opening times (06.00 – 19.00). NextCARGO BIKE RENTAL AGREEMENT I have inspected the bicycle prior to signing this agreement and have checked bike is in a satisfactory and safe condition and fit for purpose. I will not undertake any manoeuvre which is beyond my level of skill or unsuitable for the bike capability. I fully indemnify Ecourier against injury to myself or any other third party. I declare I am in good health and my eyesight is up to the standard required for a road driving test. I am not suffering from any medical conditions or disability which is likely to adversely affect my normal control of the bicycle. I recognize that cycling can be dangerous and acknowledge the risks involved. I understand that in event of mechanical failure other than punctures Ecourier will offer a collection service but reserves the right to charge a fee. I will use both locks provided and ensure bike is fully locked and secure when left unattended during deliveries. I am competent rider of this type of bicycle. I absolve Ecourier from any liability arising as a consequence of bike rental however I take full responsibility for their bicycle.
